FAC Football Well Represented on OPSMA All-Ohio Teams

Columbus, Ohio - The Frontier Athletic Conference continued to showcase its depth and talent this fall, with standout football players from across the league earning recognition on the 2025 Ohio Prep Sports Media Association Division III and Division IV All-Ohio Teams. Athletes from Chillicothe, Jackson, Miami Trace, Hillsboro, Washington Court House, and McClain were honored for their exceptional seasons and impact on the field.

FAC Football Standouts Earn All-Gridiron Glory Honors

ATHENS, Ohio - The Frontier Athletic Conference was well represented this season as several of its top football athletes earned prestigious All-Gridiron Glory honors, recognizing standout performers from across the region. Gridiron Glory — the long-running, student-produced high school football program from WOUB Public Media at Ohio University — celebrates the area’s top teams, coaches, and players each fall, making these selections among the most respected media honors in Southeast Ohio.

First Team All-Gridiron Glory Offense

The FAC showcased its offensive firepower with six players earning First Team recognition:

Cartae Ligon, Chillicothe – A dynamic playmaker whose athleticism and versatility fueled the Cavaliers’ offensive attack.

Conner Rutherford, Chillicothe – A steady and explosive offensive force who consistently created opportunities for big plays.

Jacob Allen, Jackson – A reliable leader and key contributor to the Ironmen’s powerful offensive unit.

Adam Guthrie, Miami Trace – A major part of the Panthers’ offensive success, known for physicality and consistency.

Julian Baker, Miami Trace – A skilled offensive threat who delivered big performances throughout the season.

Aden Osborne, Washington Court House – A Blue Lion standout whose production and playmaking ability anchored the WCH attack.

First Team All-Gridiron Glory Defense

Ryan Seimetz, Jackson – A cornerstone of the Ironmen defense, Seimetz earned First Team honors with his ability to control the line of scrimmage and make game-changing plays.

Second Team All-Gridiron Glory Defense

Truitt McGlone, Chillicothe – A disruptive defensive presence for the Cavaliers, McGlone’s consistent impact earned him Second Team recognition.

Gridiron Glory is an award-winning high school football show produced by students at Ohio University’s WOUB Public Media. Entering its 25th season, the program provides weekly coverage of high school football across southeast Ohio, including highlights, features, and end-of-season awards that spotlight the region’s top performers. Known for its in-depth storytelling and large coverage footprint, Gridiron Glory has become a celebrated tradition in Ohio high school sports media.

With multiple FAC athletes earning All-Gridiron Glory honors, the conference once again demonstrated its strength, depth, and growing reputation as one of the area’s most competitive football leagues.

Hall Named District Coach of the Year

JACKSON — Jackson Ironmen head football coach Andy Hall has been named the District Coach of the Year, an honor that reflects both the program’s continued excellence and the steady leadership Hall has provided throughout his tenure.

Hall, who has built the Ironmen into one of southeastern Ohio’s most consistent and respected programs, earned the award following another standout season marked by disciplined play, physical football, and a team-first culture. Under his direction, Jackson once again established itself as a contender in the region—showcasing a stout defense, an efficient offense, and the type of resilience that has become a trademark of Hall’s teams.

The District Coach of the Year recognition also highlights Hall’s influence beyond wins and losses. Known for his emphasis on character, accountability, and community pride, Hall has played a major role in shaping the Ironmen program into a model of stability and success. His ability to develop players, maintain high expectations, and build strong relationships has earned him respect across the Frontier Athletic Conference and statewide.

For Jackson fans, players, and the broader community, the award offers a moment to celebrate the standard Hall has set—one that has produced not only competitive seasons, but also memorable moments and lasting impact on the athletes he mentors.

With Hall at the helm, the Ironmen continue to demonstrate that their foundation is strong, their culture is thriving, and their future remains bright.
